 Barack Obama Appeasement Bumper Sticker

Given the U.S.-led efforts to isolate Tehran over the nuclear issue, Ahmadinejad will likely view his meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Yasuo Fukuda as a diplomatic coup. Japan is a close U.S. ally, which next month hosts the annual Group of Eight leaders' summit.

This is what happens when you meet with our enemies.  Obama thinks we should be talking with anyone but when you do, it increases their stature.  And does this embolden Iran or make it seem more reasonable?

"Iran and Japan as two civilized and influential nations should get ready for a world minus the U.S.," he said.

Kind of obvious there, isn't it?

Google Censoring Iran News?

I highly doubt that is the case, but when you see the following screen from the company founded on the motto, "Don't Be Evil" you have to wonder:

Obama and Chamberlain: Appeasing Dictators since 1937!

It's a good thing that Democrats are so mad about Obama being backhandedly called an appeaser.  It shows that we've found an issue that they know will stick.

This one has legs, my friends!

Google Enforcing Political Correctness with Adsense?

There's no question that Google is a very PC company, and I'm not talking "Personal Computer".  When China complains about Google, they knuckle under.  Ask Michelle Malkin how many of Hot Air's videos have been removed because they were critical of Islam while videos that treat Christianity far worse are allowed to remain.

Well, it seems that Google plans to introduce another weapon into their crusade, Adsense.  From their official Adsense blog, reminding people of videos and content on pages that serve Adsense ads and the type of content that violates their policies:

Culturally insensitive or hate speech: Includes content promoting racial intolerance or advocating against a specific individual, group, or organization.

That pretty much allows them to kick anyone out of Adsense they disagree with, doesn't it?  Let's see... I advocate against Democrats and that's a group.  Specifically against Hillary Clinton and a few others.  I could list other potential problems, but you see where this is going, right?

Culturally insensitive?  Merriam-Webster defines the word insensitive as "lacking feeling or tact" so basically, anything critical of anyone else's culture is forbidden.  It's a cultural norm for middle-eastern Muslims to kill gays.  They also advocate wife-beating.  Technically, Google is saying that if you don't respectfully and sensitively criticize them, they'll take your revenue away.

Don't post any of the Dutch cartoons that made fun of Muhammed!  Don't criticize the fact that Islam is not only a state religion but is the actual law in some countries!

And whatever you do, don't criticize the Chinese government!  It doesn't matter how many political prisoners they have, how many Christians they kill or how many missiles they are preparing to fire at Japan if they are just given a chance.

Google needs to change their motto from "Don't be evil" to "Don't make anyone mad!"

Fred Thompson is the RIGHT Choice

I am a Ronald Reagan conservative through and through.  He is the third greatest leader this country has ever had, behind Lincoln and Washington (in that order).

There is only one candidate that truly represents those ideals (including the optimism for America) and has consistently done so throughout his career and that is Fred Dalton Thompson.  Every other candidate tries to lay claim to Reagan conservatism, but the only other candidate whose positions align with Reagan is a "Ronnie come lately" whose positions evolve with his political aspirations.

I initially favored Thompson but his lackluster fundraising and campaigning made me (and many others) wonder about his passion for the job.  You've got to want it, but you also have to be passionate about your positions and that was lacking in Thompson's campaigning as well as his debate performances.  That had left me in a quandary because I can't support someone I don't think has passion for his convictions.

All of that changed when Fred Thompson stepped up to the plate in South Carolina and hit the ball out of the park.  I had known Thompson shared my belief about government and its role, but until that debate the "fire in the belly" wasn't there.

There has been talk of "it's too late" but I disagree.  It's not even February yet!  Every primary or caucus, the MSM does their darndest to get one or more candidates to drop out, because that gives them something new to talk about for 3 days.  Don't believe the hype.  There are still 46 other states that have yet to have their primaries, including my own state of Georgia on February 5th.

Unfortunately, because Thompson has had a very poorly run campaign, he's lacking in media attention as well as in fundraising.  My mother told me once that democracy costs money and if you have an interest in seeing your interests protected, you need to contribute.

Fred Thompson is the only conservative, the only genuine conservative in the race today.  But he does need money.  If you are interested in getting a truly conservative man into the White House, then I urge you to contribute to Thompson today.

All of the other candidates are pretenders to the throne or a political chameleon.  Support the real conservative for President.

Michael Vick and the Inequity of Justice

Michael Vick was sentenced today:

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) -- Michael Vick was sentenced to 23 months in prison Monday for his role in a dogfighting conspiracy that involved gambling and killing pit bulls that did not perform up to expectations.

Before you think that this is a story about how awful it is that Vick should get almost 2 years for his dogfighting crimes, think again.  The inequity of justice isn't for celebrities, it's for women.

ind1 It's very saddening (and enraging) to me that a person can kill dogs and get 23 months in prison, not because of the killings, but because of the way he killed them.  The case isn't about life and animals' rights, it's about cruelty.  But what I'm forced to wonder is why is it that there is so much outrage because of what happened to Vick's dogs, but the world remains silent about the oppression of women in Muslim societies.

Just a few weeks ago there were stories about a Muslim cleric giving advice on how to beat your wife.  It's "accepted" (by the men) and accepted (by women who have no choice) that if you're a woman in a Muslim country, you're going to be treated worse than an American house pet and the punishment for abuse is nonexistent.

Iran Executing GaysAmnesty International and other left-wing organizations like to talk about how awful we are in the USA because we have the death penalty for crimes but they are largely silent on the cultural normality of women abuse in Muslim society.  The tragedy isn't just that Muslim women are oppressed beyond all reason, and they certainly are.  The tragedy is that for no other reason than to advance their own personal agenda of self-loathing and seeking the praise of anyone who hates America, these women are left to suffer and die.

Huckabee says a long time ago that he thinks that homosexuality is a problem and the media goes nuts.  Ahmed-dinner-jacket denies that homosexuality exists in Iran (and he kills gays every day to try to make that statement true) and all you hear from the media is crickets.

The communist left of this country (aka Democrats) and their willing sycophants in the main stream media are guilty by inaction for every homosexual that or woman that is killed in a Muslim country.  It is criminal negligence that they can't be tried for but should be ashamed of.  The blood of untold innocents are on their hands for no other reason than they want to befriend anyone who hates America.
