Jeremiah Wright: Is that why you slapped my brutha around in public?
Barack Obama: Aw, now that, that was nothin', Jerry. The media didn't mean nothin' by that. Yeah, sure he flies off the handle every once in a while, but me and him, we're good friends, right Media?
Main Stream Media: I got a business to run. I gotta kick asses sometimes to make it run right. We had a little argument, Barry and me, so I had to straighten him out.
Jeremiah: You straightened my brutha out?
Media: Sonofabitch! Do you know who I am? I'm the Main Stream Media! I made my bones when you were going out with cheerleaders!
Barack: Wait a minute, Media, I got an idea. Howard, you're the Chairman and you can talk to the King, you can explain...
Howard Dean: Now hold it right there. The King is dead and Jerry is in charge of the Black Church now. If you have anything to say, say it to Jeremiah.
Barack: [Main Stream Media leaves] Jerry! You do not come to Washington and talk to the Main Stream Media like that!
Jeremiah: Barack, you're my brutha, and I love you. But don't ever take sides with anyone against the Black Church again. Ever.
So Barack, even though he knew better, didn't listen to his brutha, Jerry. He went his own way and thought he could handle things on his own. He kept trying to get something for himself and kept getting further away from the Family Black Church.
Now Barack has done the worst. He's not only disowned the new Godfather, Jeremiah Wright, but he's publicly condemned him. He crossed him. He put something ahead of his Godfather by talking about how disgusted he was at Wright's speech and so forth.
I suspect that Wright will have one more conversation with Obama and be told essentially, "You broke my heart, Barry. You broke my heart."
Obama, like Fredo, will run though no retribution is immediately forthcoming. But as the election gets closer, Obama will be having a good time thinking that "all is forgiven" when one of Wrights "underbosses" like Farrakhan will take him out in a boat and shoot his political career in the back of the head.
