Sam Nunn's out as VP

This just in:

Former Georgia Sen. Sam Nunn appears to have dropped from the running to be Barack Obama’s vice presidential choice.

The Georgia Democrat will be traveling out of the country until Monday, his spokeswoman said Thursday. Obama is scheduled to appear with his running mate in Springfield, Ill., on Saturday.

I don't think he had much of a chance anyway.  There was no real indication that he wanted it and in spite of what people were saying, Georgia was never "in play" for Obama.
